The Hydrographic Society UK (THS UK) is to host the 59th Marine Measurement Forum (MMF) at the Upstream Learning Centre, located on BP’s International Centre for Business & Technology (ICBT) campus in Sunbury-on-Thames, on Friday 7 July 2017. The organisers are seeking speakers who would like to give a short presentation (approx. 20 minutes) at MMF59 on a topic relating any aspect of measurement within the marine environment.

Echoing the theme of the Society’s networking event at The Magpie the previous afternoon, MMF59 would also welcome talks which convey the staggering advancements in marine science over the last half century and/or contrast the techniques employed ‘then and now’.

The Marine Measurement Forum (MMF) is a series of one-day, non-profit making events that provides opportunities for the informal exchange of ideas, knowledge, techniques and developments across an extensive range of marine scientific measurement activities.
