Special Details About This Meeting/Audience:

A free online conference exploring how people who shape the web and other digital experiences can use their skills to combat climate change.

This is the second SustainableUX. The first one took place on Feb 9th 2016. We sold 417 tickets, and a further 600 people watched the livestream. We expect to outsell that total in 2017.

We curate our event to be as inclusive as possible, and are actively recruiting for a good mix of representation at our event. And first time speakers are welcome too – we’ll even offer mentoring and coaching.

Audience:
All sorts of digital folk including UX designers and strategists, front-end coders, product managers, business owners, visual designers and more.

Theme:
We’ll consider any topic that can help the people who create digital products and services do so in a low-carbon, responsible fashion. This might range from talks about practical, day-to-day tactics and techniques, to talks about more conceptual or strategic approaches to designing a more sustainable web – including issues of inclusivity and justice.
