The Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA), established in 1982, is a professional membership organization that promotes excellence in midwifery practice, endorses diversity in educational backgrounds and practice styles, and is dedicated to unifying and strengthening the profession, thereby increasing access to quality health care and improving outcomes for women, babies, families, and communities.
Have you been working on research or a project that you’d like to share with the midwifery community? Are you an expert in your field and have a presentation pertaining to the midwifery profession that will interest and educate midwives on an important topic? If so, the MANA Program Committee invites your abstract proposals on topics including: clinical skills & issues, education, global health, legal concerns and general interest. You may submit for a half or full-day pre-conference workshop, a breakout session (90 min), a plenary (50 min) or a poster presentation — or all of the above.
